Storytales — Ridicularious entertainment from rural Southern life

“A little ridicularity goeth a long way!” – Proverbs 98:6 (King Daniel Version)

Hello! Glad you could come. This is my favorite tall tales telling uniform. And this is the vehicle I like to drive for the tale telling meetings. So far, I’ve tale told in about 16 middle Georgia counties and one on the coast.

How much do I charge, you say? How much you got? How far will I go, you say? Well, where are you? If I can get there from here and back again, we’ll work out something.

Just call me and give me time to tale-er a tale for you and your crowd–oops! Delete “crowd.” These days, I do my telling through five layers of filtering, and I don’t get hugging close.

Now, for a little intro info:

I’m Dan. I was born on my very own birthday during World War II. I don’t know how many birthdays I have left, but I’m planning to use every one of them.

What is my day job? You’re looking at it. You already figured out it is not building websites, right?

You can already tell that I like to have fun. But I can get serious if you need some propping up on your leaning side.

First, I need to know which way you’re leaning, so I LISTEN. Then we come up with a propping plan.

There ought to be some contact information around here somewhere. Let me hear from you.

While I’m waiting, I’ll sit here and chair the meeting!
